North Star Recovery Coaching is a physician-owned and operated practice led by certified international Master Addictions Coach Dr. Kenneth Markowitz. He offers personalized recovery coaching for individuals recovering from substance addictions as well as process addictions such as gambling, gaming, food, or work addictions . Coaches guide clients in building and implementing action-oriented recovery plans, focusing on sustained sobriety, life re‑direction, and goal achievement. What sets North Star apart is its medical grounding along with coaching professionalism. As a physician-run service, North Star integrates holistic addiction knowledge with motivational coaching, emphasizing collaboration with clients’ broader treatment teams to maximize recovery success. Additionally, North Star extends its support to families and relationship partners, offering help in navigating addiction’s impact on loved ones, and addressing betrayal trauma and recovery reconciliation
