About Blueprints for Recovery

In Northern Arizona, Blueprints to Recovery supports men and women with gambling addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. With the help of a tailored treatment plan, clients can address trauma, learn new skills, build support networks, and set goals for their recovery. Blueprints to Recovery’s transitional treatment stage provides additional support as clients adjust to their new lifestyles. Clients still have up to 30 hours of therapy each week as they transition out of treatment. Finally, clients apply what they have learned to their lives during the launch phase. A continuing care coordinator helps clients develop and hone the skills they will need to begin their new lives.
Northern Arizona's mountainous deserts surround Blueprints to Recovery. The setting offers a lovely environment for healing and connecting with nature. Blueprints to Recovery offers experiential therapies like biking, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, and boating, to name a few.
Most staff members, including the founder, have been through treatment and recovery. Their experience allows a deeper connection with clients and fosters a comfortable, understanding environment. The team is happy to answer questions and share their own personal experiences.
Blueprints to Recovery is in-network with several major insurance companies, like Humana, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Cigna.

Evidence-Based Context: According to SAMHSA's National Survey on Drug Use and Health (2023), approximately 48.7 million Americans aged 12 or older had a substance use disorder in the past year. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) emphasizes that treatment programs combining behavioral therapy with medication-assisted approaches show the highest rates of sustained recovery. Facilities like Blueprints for Recovery provide structured pathways to evidence-based care. Sources: SAMHSA NSDUH 2023, NIDA Principles of Drug Addiction Treatment (4th Ed.)

Understanding Your Treatment Options

Choosing the right treatment facility is one of the most important decisions in the recovery journey. Research published by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) shows that treatment duration, therapeutic approach, and aftercare planning are the three strongest predictors of long-term sobriety.

Blueprints for Recovery offers 3 distinct levels of care, allowing patients to step through treatment intensities as they progress. This continuum-of-care model — moving from higher to lower intensity — is recommended by SAMHSA as the gold standard for addiction treatment.

The facility utilizes 9 evidence-based therapeutic modalities. According to NIDA research, combination therapy approaches that integrate behavioral interventions (such as Group Therapy and Eye Movement Therapy (EMDR)) with holistic support show significantly improved outcomes compared to single-modality programs.

Under the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act, most commercial insurance plans are required to cover substance abuse treatment. Blueprints for Recovery works with 24 insurance providers. Call (833) 567-5838 to verify your specific coverage and learn about out-of-pocket costs before admission.
