This center treats mental health conditions and co-occurring substance use. You receive collaborative, individualized treatment that addresses both issues for whole-person healing.

YSS of Boone County is a facility designed to support youth and their families in Boone County, Iowa. Their behavioral health services consist of mental health therapy, substance use counseling, psychiatric consultation/medication management, behavioral health intervention services, integrated health services, and an access and visitation program. They offer family and child specific therapies like parent child interaction therapy (PCIT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), multidimensional family therapy (MDFT), and play therapy. YSS of Boone County offers a transitional living program and rapid rehousing. The transition living program provides homeless youth and young adults (ages 16-21) a safe living environment and individualized support to help them reach their goals. Individuals may stay in the program for up to 18 months and are expected to place a portion of their salary in a savings account to use after leaving the program. Youth ages 18-24 can participate in the rapid rehousing program. While in the program, youth will live in their own apartment with a lease in their name and can receive rent assistance for 12 months. For human trafficking survivors, YSS will pay 100% of rent and utilities for 12 months.
