This 150-bed psychiatric hospital treats clients of all ages with mental health conditions. Their mission is to promote resilience, recovery, and restoration by using evidence-based therapies, medication management, and recreational therapies. Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), art therapy, music therapy, and group therapies in their treatment approach. They have specialized groups for each age group and adolescents can participate in LGBTQ+ groups or groups focused on addressing trauma. The levels of care offered here include an intensive inpatient program, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). Clients can have shared or private rooms and have access to an indoor basketball court.
