On a 10-acre, wooded site only a few minutes from the main UF Health hospital, the UF Health Florida Recovery Center specializes in addiction treatment. Florida Recovery Center employs expert addiction medicine specialists, including psychiatrists and licensed behavioral health counselors, all well-versed in the latest medical advancements. They also offer a full continuum of care, including medical detox, inpatient treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient (IOP). Treatment at Florida Recovery Center focuses on all facets of recovery, including the physical, emotional, and spiritual ones, and is delivered in the comfort of a compassionate, safe, and tranquil atmosphere using the time-tested 12-Step program. On-campus housing is available for patients in the outpatient programs, allowing patients to attend addiction recovery services in a safe space with independence. UF Health has expanded its Florida Recovery Center with a new 9,000-square-foot rebuilt structure that will give greater room for patient care, group activities, and addiction care. Their on-site sober living offers comfortable accommodations, where patients are housed with 1-3 other roommates. Patients can also enjoy a plethora of outdoor activities, like an outdoor BBQ area, a pool, a basketball court, volleyball, ping pong, and more.
