Twin Lakes takes a holistic approach to recovery, incorporates evidence-based therapies, and is a 12-Step facilitation center. Twin Lakes pride itself on accommodating clients of different belief systems and supporting those who wish to find other frameworks for peer support. Residential treatment plans typically last 28-45 days. Residences attend group and individual therapy sessions. The group therapy sessions use trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), anger management, and SMART recovery meetings. The group sessions have fewer than 15 clients at one time. Twin Lakes is accredited by the Joint Commission. They accept most major insurances. Twin Lakes facility is a beautiful 17,000 square foot home. They have semi-private sleeping quarters and shared bathrooms. Meals are catered and shared in the dining room as a group. Amenities include basketball, fishing, nature walks, badminton, volleyball, corn hole, horseshoes, and exercise equipment. Clients have access to coffee and snacks throughout the day in the kitchen.
