Focus

This center treats substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Your treatment plan addresses each condition at once with personalized, compassionate care for comprehensive healing.

The Right Step Houston treats all forms of substance abuse with their full continuum of alcohol and drug rehab programs. They offer residential care, outpatient care, and alumni services. Residential care typically lasts 30 days. Their outpatient services are conducted in the same facility as the inpatient services. The facility is located in a quiet residential neighborhood offering a home-like setting. This provides a warm, welcoming atmosphere that is comfortable for everyone. Individual therapy is conducted in special rooms that are nicely decorated, while group therapy may occur in a living room setting. The Right Step aims to bring healing to those who are stuck in the cycle of addiction using evidence-based therapies and holistic services. The Right Step employs qualified experts that are trained in specialized therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), 12-Step facilitation, and more. Clients will have 1-on-1 time with their counselor as well as group therapy sessions. Holistic therapies are also incorporated into the program and can include recreational therapy, art therapy, experiential therapy, and music therapy. The Right Step is part of the Promises Behavioral Health family and has numerous locations throughout the U.S. Their comfortable, home-like atmosphere provides a structured environment for clients to heal. The Right Step Houston is accredited by the Joint Commission and accepts most private insurance.
