About The Renfrew Center Mount Laurel

The Renfrew Center in Mount Laurel exists to be an inclusive place for adolescent girls, women, transgender women and non-binary individuals to seek treatment for various eating disorders including anorexia or bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and disordered eating such as OSFED and ARFID. Their new outpatient location in New Jersey provides the opportunity for easy transition between all levels of care, with their residential treatment program conveniently located 45 minutes away in Philadelphia. They provide comprehensive, evidence-based care for clients and their families both in-person and virtually. Their day treatment, or partial hospitalization program (PHP) is intended for clients who are either stepping down from residential care, or in need of flexible yet structured treatment. The intensive outpatient program (IOP) is designed for those who need more support than traditional outpatient treatment services, and their outpatient program is designed for clients who desire weekly support in the form of individual, family or group therapy.
The day treatment program meets 5 days a week and includes group and individual therapy, medication management, psychiatric evaluation, 2 meals per day along with snacks, nutrition therapy, expressive therapies and psychoeducation. Their IOP meets 3 times per week and includes nutrition consultation, group therapy, psychiatric services, 1 meal per day and psychoeducation. Their specialized programming covers a range of related topics such as body image, college or educational programming, nutrition counseling, diabetes support, and creative arts therapy.
