Located near St. Augustine Beach, The Augustine Recovery Center’s mission is to provide long lasting recovery from addiction in a safe, supportive environment. They provide gender-specific residential treatment, medical detox, and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). Augustine Recovery understands that not only do men and women have different triggers for addiction, but they also need different therapies and coping skills to overcome these struggles. This is why they create gender-specific programs to achieve lifelong sobriety. Augustine Recovery suggests a 90-day minimum stay for optimal recovery and completion of all 12 steps. Some of the therapies they offer include trauma therapy, group therapy, life skills, animal therapy, horticulture therapy, and family therapy. Augustine Recovery also has regular in-house AA and NA meetings. On 9 acres of pristine, waterside land, The Augustine Recovery Center resides on a spacious family-style property. They have comfortable indoor lounge areas, an outdoor pool, gardens, and walking trails. Augustine Recovery additionally offers many activities like yoga, surfing, paddle boarding, and hiking. They also have personal training for their clients 6 days a week. They strive to create a family-like, community atmosphere, which is why most activities and meals are done together as a group. The Augustine Recovery Center accepts many forms of private insurance.
