Focus
This center primarily treats substance use disorders, helping you stabilize, create relapse-prevention plans, and connect to compassionate support.
The Teen Challenge Alum Rock Women & Children’s Center offers long-term, faith-based residential care for single women, pregnant women, and mothers with children. This 12 to 18 month program supports women recovering from drug and alcohol addiction in a safe, structured setting that promotes healing physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. The center is easily accessible by public transit, with the Alum Rock Transit Center station on the VTA Orange Line located less than a mile away. Women take part in mentoring, parenting classes, job skills training, and biblical studies that support personal growth. Their days are filled with meaningful routines such as work projects, education, recreation, and uplifting group activities. Game nights featuring UNO and Pictionary bring laughter and connection, while an on-site playground offers a safe, joyful space for children. The center creates a nurturing environment where women and their children can rebuild with confidence and hope.
