Focus

This center treats substance use disorders and mental health conditions. You'll receive individualized care catered to your unique situation and diagnosis, learn practical skills for recovery, and make new connections in a restorative environment.

SunCloud Health cares for adults and adolescents with substance use, eating disorders, mood disorders, and PTSD and trauma, using an integrated care model. Located in Gaithersburg, the facility’s goal is to treat the whole person - their underlying biological, psychological, social, and spiritual causes of various disorders - providing a more comprehensive care plan. The facility specializes in treating adults and their services include intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, virtual care, and medication management. A variety of evidence-based treatments such as individual and group therapy, 12-step facilitation, psychiatric treatment, DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness practices, and family intervention come together to provide patients with the tools they need to heal. Their team of licensed mental health professionals are specially trained to provide highly-personalized care to all patients, in addition to long-term support. They are accredited by the Joint Commission, the Eating Disorders Coalition's Leadership Circle, and the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) Presidents Council. SunCloud Health provides an individualized treatment plan based on each patient’s specific needs, history, and their daily lives to create a custom-made plan that can facilitate lifelong recovery. The center prioritizes harm-reduction in addition to their trauma-informed approach to ensure that patients are recovering at their own pace in a sustainable way.
