Stepping Stones is a CARF accredited treatment center specialized in treating addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions with evidence-based care. Their full continuum of care includes acute residential treatment with 24/7 care, intensive outpatient (IOP) and gender-specific sober living homes. Stepping Stones strives to offer person-centered treatment that focuses on the patient's goals and needs during recovery. The length of stay is also determined by the patient's needs. Treatment includes a variety of evidence-based care blending individual counseling with case management services. In addition to case management and support groups, Stepping Stones provides life skills development (GED courses), parenting classes, recreational activities, and transportation assistance. Located in Joliet, Illinois, Stepping Stones has served Will County for over 50 years and states, “You won’t be denied treatment due to an inability to pay.”
