Focus

This center treats substance use disorders and mental health conditions. You'll receive individualized care catered to your unique situation and diagnosis, learn practical skills for recovery, and make new connections in a restorative environment.

Roots Through Recovery provides 3 levels of therapy for adolescents ages 12 to 18 battling with substance misuse and co-occurring disorders. Their partial hospitalization program (PHP) is their highest level of treatment, allowing clients to get care comparable to a residential program while still living at home. Their intensive outpatient program (IOP) is the next step down after partial hospitalization. Intensive outpatient programs consist of 3 hours of treatment per day, 5 days a week, with the option of attending in the mornings, afternoons, or evenings. Treatment consists of group therapy and weekly individual sessions, which allow patients to put what they've learned into practice in their daily lives while still receiving extensive support in their recovery. The outpatient program (OP) is the final step of treatment at Roots Through Recovery. Their outpatient program provides treatment similar to their intensive outpatient program, but with less hours per week and less commitment. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT), physical rehabilitation, and trauma support groups are among other ongoing treatments. Patients at Roots Through Recovery will be treated using a variety of evidence-based therapy methods. They offer personalized treatment plans tailored to the individual, determining which methods will be most effective during their intake assessments. Their trauma-focused therapy includes methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), motivational interviewing (MI), somatic experiencing, and experiential therapies such as music and art therapy. Individual, group, and family therapy sessions are also offered. Roots Through Recovery offers treatment specifically tailored to a variety of specialized populations. Their executive program provides treatment to professionals in an environment with peers and staff who understand high-stress level jobs and focus on finding the balance that will allow for successful long-term recovery. The first responders program specializes in group and individual therapy, engaging in restorative activities that can increase resilience and reduce the risk of burnout and compassion fatigue. Well trained, knowledgeable, and a gender diverse staff works with those in need in the LBGTQ+ community. The program's purpose is to acknowledge, validate, and accept each client's life experience among gender-diverse individuals. They also offer specialized programs for veterans and active duty military, Native Americans, and survivors of trauma and PTSD.
