The Rogers’ Eating Disorder Recovery adult program is situated on nine acres of prairie and woodlands in Delafield, Wisconsin. This campus includes therapeutic gardens and cozy, home-like treatment and living areas, promoting a serene and healing atmosphere just two miles from the main campus in Oconomowoc. A typical day in their adult eating disorder treatment program includes various therapeutic activities. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) happens for 3 hours daily to help change behaviors, thoughts, and emotions. Exposure and Response Prevention is practiced twice daily to help individuals confront and reduce their fears and anxiety. Experiential therapy, including horticultural, recreational, and art therapy, is held 1-2 times per week to enhance coping skills. Family involvement is encouraged through weekly family therapy sessions and a monthly Family & Friends Program that includes psycho-education, meal-time with patients, and support groups. Patients have weekly individual meetings with a dietician and therapist, and meet with a psychiatrist 2-3 times per week. Nutrition group therapy, facilitated by a registered dietician, is held weekly to cover essential nutritional information.
