About Purpose House Sober Living
At Purpose House, all residents are to actively participate in the community through employment, education, or community service. Purpose House is fully furnished and move-in ready, providing linens, a fully equipped kitchen with two refrigerators and cabinet space available, with cable, internet, and utilities included with the monthly rent. Residents are required to participate in sponsorship and attend a minimum of 4 off-site 12-Step meetings, as well as a weekly 12-Step meeting held on-site, and must be working, volunteering, or attending school within the first 2 weeks of residency. Purpose House administers frequent drug and alcohol screening tests to assure the environment remains a safe space for those in recovery. The communal living style allows for residents to help each other coordinate transportation to 12-Step meetings, outpatient services, or therapy or other doctors appointments, and is located on the bus route.
