Set just off Highway 22 in northeast Cincinnati, New Horizons Recovery Centers treats a range of substance use and mental health disorders, as well as behavioral addictions like gambling, gaming, phone addiction, and social media addiction. They specialize in treating acute depression and treatment-resistant depression. New Horizons Recovery Centers addresses co-occurring conditions together to ensure a comprehensive, successful recovery. Their trauma-informed services include individual and group therapies, including specialized groups for cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, psychoeducation, and life skill training. Additional therapies they facilitate include art therapy, motivational interviewing, eye-movement therapy, 12-Step Facilitation, relapse prevention planning, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). They administer Vivitrol (naltrexone) for the medication-assisted treatment. They can offer men gender-specific care.
