Focus

This center treats mental health conditions and co-occurring substance use. You receive collaborative, individualized treatment that addresses both issues for whole-person healing.

In Dedham, Massachusetts, New Harbor Behavioral Healthcare serves adolescents and their families through an intensive outpatient program (IOP). Using evidence-based therapies, family involvement, and a trauma-informed approach, New Harbor addresses teen mental health concerns and co-occurring substance use including marijuana use and vaping. Clients in the program work with licensed staff in individual, group, and family counseling sessions to address their mental health concerns and learn new, healthy coping strategies and reach their goals. Through the program, teens connect with peers facing similar issues, avoid loneliness and isolation, and receive an individualized treatment plan. New Harbor Behavioral Health believes in the importance of family involvement and offers family therapy and a family systems approach to help the family heal together as a unit.
