Milwaukee Women’s Recovery Center
Program Length
90 days
Focus
This center treats substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Your treatment plan addresses each condition at once with personalized, compassionate care for comprehensive healing.
The Milwaukee Women’s Recovery Center (MWRC) provides residential treatment for up to 8 women recovering from substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions. Each client begins with a full physical and psychiatric assessment that shapes an individualized care plan. MWRC delivers individual, group, and family therapy, medication management, peer support, case management, recovery coaching, and coordination with outside medical providers when needed. Clients engage in at least 20 hours of high-intensity services during the first 30 days, with treatment levels adjusting as they make progress. Most women stay 30 to 90 days, building the medical, therapeutic, and peer support foundation they need to stabilize, heal, and move forward in recovery.
