Millcreek of Pontotoc is a specialized treatment center for adolescents, teens, and young adults struggling with depression, behavioral issues, and co-occurring disorders. Millcreek of Pontotoc offers group homes, residential treatment, and therapeutic day school. The residential treatment program is suited for adolescents and young adults between the ages of 6 and 20. The program is open to boys and girls with a total of 51 beds throughout 3 different cottages. Gender-specific treatment includes individual therapy sessions, group therapy, family counseling, experiential therapies, and medication medication management. Educational services are provided through a fully accredited, on-site therapeutic day school. Classes are held from 8:00 am-11:00 am every day, and at this time clients break for an hour of group therapy and then have lunch. After lunch, patients return to class from 12:30 pm-2:00 pm. Classes are offered in small classrooms with low student-to-teacher and student-to-aid ratios in order to ensure that all academic needs are fully addressed. Millcreek of Pontotoc is located in Northern Mississippi and is a leader in the provision of mental healthcare for adolescents and young adults. Their qualified, compassionate team of professionals helps patients overcome their challenges and develops the skills needed to appropriately manage conditions going forward. At Millcreek of Pontotoc, clients will work hand-in-hand with counselors, therapists, social workers, psychiatrists, nurses, and other types of mental and behavioral health professionals who will help shape lasting recovery.
