Some of the tailored programs include treatment for agoraphobia, anger management, autistic spectrum disorder, and traumatic brain injury. As a world-class residential facility, the Milestones Method offers an integrative framework for treatment that includes research-based modalities such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Therapy, as well as relapse-prevention oriented strategies. Individualized treatment plans are formulated by a team of professionals and determined by the client’s unique personality traits, strengths, and needs. Milestone Ranch allows clients to set their own treatment goals and use state-of-the-art therapies such as Communication Coaching, Hypnotherapy, EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, and Life Skills Training. In addition, Milestones Ranch offers exposure therapy to build the client up through social and sober activities, providing the practical skills and confidence needed to socialize without the use of drugs. These creative outings can include trips to the museum, musical outings, golfing, comedy clubs, rock climbing, and many more. The location of Milestones Ranch cannot be beat, as it’s nestled on 160 acres in Malibu, California. The Ranch offers luxurious accommodations with breathtaking scenery. Clients can enjoy the vast property grounds that include lakes, a cafe, multiple pools, ranch animals, walking trails, beautiful gardens, lovely verandas, and a tranquil waterfall. Events are also held on the property including musical performances, cooking lessons, dance parties, group artistic endeavors, animal care, and gardening.
