Focus

This center treats substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Your treatment plan addresses each condition at once with personalized, compassionate care for comprehensive healing.

Midwest Recovery Centers' mission as an extended care facility is to deliver high-quality addiction treatment in a structured setting. Located in Kansas City, Missouri, Midwest Recovery offers a 12-Step community intensive outpatient program (IOP). Being in a supportive environment with others who have previously gone through treatment is a key component in Midwest Recovery's treatment approach. Their approach also includes both individual and group therapy. Patients are urged to participate in community events and incorporate their everyday activities into their clinical work. This 8 week program runs 3 evenings a week from 6PM to 9PM, ideal for participants managing other responsibilities. The program offers family sessions along with relapse prevention, stress management, and life skills development. This program is for those who are in the early stages of recovery and are committed to maintaining sobriety. Regular urine testing occurs 2-3 times a week to maintain accountability.
