Focus

This center treats substance use disorders and mental health conditions. You'll receive individualized care catered to your unique situation and diagnosis, learn practical skills for recovery, and make new connections in a restorative environment.

Located on Main Street in downtown Leominster near Monument Square and just minutes from I-190, this nonprofit outpatient arm of The Transition House Inc. supports individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and grief. Clients can access individual, couples, or group therapy, with flexible scheduling for in-person or telehealth sessions. Licensed therapists create a safe space for healing and growth at every stage of care. Clinicians combine evidence-based treatments like talk therapy and trauma-informed care with mindfulness practices that support emotional balance. Sessions may include grounding techniques, stress reduction, and breathing exercises to help manage daily challenges. Therapists also address co-occurring needs through case management, medication support, and evaluations as part of a comprehensive care plan. Clients can request animal-assisted therapy sessions with certified therapy dogs to reduce stress and build emotional connection. The center also offers support for domestic violence, dual diagnoses, and psychiatric care. Most major insurance plans are accepted, including MassHealth, Medicare, and regional providers. Telehealth appointments make care accessible across Central Massachusetts.
