The Guidance Center (TGC) is a nonprofit Certified Behavioral Health Clinic serving Atchison, Jefferson, and Leavenworth Counties in Kansas. Offering both outpatient and inpatient referral services, TGC provides essential mental health care for individuals, families, and businesses. Prioritizing those most in need, the center ensures access to quality care, regardless of financial ability TGC offers a wide range of home and community-based behavioral health services, including psychiatric care, counseling, and substance abuse treatment. As the only provider of psychiatric services in the three-county area, TGC operates on a sliding fee scale to make treatment accessible. Their compassionate, evidence-based approach helps individuals achieve long-term recovery and emotional well-being. The Guidance Center (TGC) provides specialized behavioral health services for children and adolescents, offering therapy, psychiatric care, and case management to support emotional and developmental well-being. Their programs include individual, family, and group therapy, school-based services, psychological assessments, and crisis intervention. TGC also offers early childhood programs for young children facing behavioral challenges and a 10-week Summer Thrive program designed to foster social and emotional growth.
