Nestled beside the Merrimack River, Forge Health Manchester aims to improve the well-being of veterans, first responders, and their families while addressing substance use and mental health conditions. Forge Health Manchester offers three modes of treatment which include therapy and counseling, outpatient treatment, and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP). They are exceptional in taking into account the distinct values, preferences, and cultures of veterans and first responders. Forge Health treats co-occurring conditions with a specialized emphasis on trauma and PTSD. At Forge Health Manchesters’s outpatient office, clients can enjoy sunlight and luxurious therapeutic spaces. The program is run by a licensed LMFT who incorporates treatment methods like mindfulness-based stress management and trauma-informed therapy. Clients can participate in individual counseling, group counseling, psychoeducation meetings, and couples counseling. Some additional therapeutic methods utilized include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing. Forge Health Manchester is LegitScript certified and accepts both public and private insurance.
