Footprints’ comprehensive approach addresses the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—to guide clients through recovery with empathy, respect, and compassion.
Footprints’ clinical program includes traditional therapies like individual, group, and family therapy that use a range of evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI). In doing so, they help clientsaddress underlying issuesand develop healthy coping mechanisms. They also incorporate alternative therapies like eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), massage therapy, yoga, acupuncture, chiropractic services, psychodrama, and fitness sessions to promote overall wellness.
Footprints to Recovery offers3 levels of outpatient treatment, allowing clients to focus on recovery while living at home or in sober living and maintaining daily responsibilities. In day treatment (also called partial hospitalization, PHP), clients attend treatment 4-6 hours a day, 5 days a week, for individual therapy sessions, group therapy, experiential approaches, and addiction education. The intensive outpatient program (IOP) provides 9-15 hours of treatment per week and includes individual and group sessions. Their outpatient program (OP) offers 3 hours of treatment once or twice weekly.
Footprints provides continuing care and resources to clients who have finished their outpatient program. Clients receive anindividualized aftercare planthat can help them stay sober as they return to everyday life.
