Focus

This center treats mental health conditions and co-occurring substance use. You receive collaborative, individualized treatment that addresses both issues for whole-person healing.

This Chicago-based treatment center provides individual, group and family therapy as well as a specialized intensive outpatient program. This intensive outpatient program is a researched-backed, structured outpatient program that is more intense than outpatient therapy and less intense than residential. The treatment is designed to be flexible around clients’ busy schedules. The two tracks that are offered include a dual diagnosis mental health or substance use track and a mood/personality disorder track. They specialize in treating mood/personality disorders, anxiety, stress, panic, trauma, substance use and process addictions. The programs have an emphasis on preventing relapse by teaching clients skills to build self-awareness and resilience. The clinicians also focus on shame resilience inspired by Brene Brown’s work. This concept encourages clients to have the courage to change, live in their authenticity and show up bravely in life. In addition, they also offer many other evidence-based therapies and relaxation therapies. Clients can also see a psychiatrist and receive medication management.
