English Mountain Recovery provides treatment for those suffering from chemical dependency and assists clients in recovering from the spiritual, emotional, and physical effects of addiction. The 36-bed treatment facility provides medical detox and gender-specific residential treatment. The treatment length can range from 30-90 days and combines the traditional 12-Step approach with holistic options. Therapy can include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), creative arts therapy, somatic trauma resolution, trauma-informed hypnotherapy, relapse prevention, yoga, meditation, and equine therapy. Clients can attend therapy and participate in recovery activities all at the same location. English Mountain is proud to serve veterans with their drug and alcohol addiction program. At English Mountain, they have staff members who are specifically trained to address the unique needs of veterans through the PsychArmor certification program. English Mountain Recovery is located on a serene 27-acre campus setting in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. Clients can enjoy recreational therapy and activities including a labyrinth, horseback riding, a putt-putt course, hiking, and swimming in the on-site pool. The Smoky Mountains help to create the ultimate serene healing environment. English Mountain Recovery is accreted by CARF and accepts most private insurance.
