Focus

This center primarily treats substance use disorders, helping you stabilize, create relapse-prevention plans, and connect to compassionate support.

Discovery Point Retreat is regarded as one of the leading treatment centers for addiction in the state of Texas and the nation. Their network of facilities provides residential care in Texas and intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization (PHP) in the heart of downtown Dallas. Their outpatient treatment center is conveniently located and provides day and evening hours to accommodate any schedule. Discovery Point Retreat's PHP program offers a transitional stage between rigorous outpatient treatment and residential inpatient treatment. Patients who are unable to commit to full inpatient care due to work, school, or family obligations may also benefit from this alternative. Clients in the Day Treatment attend therapy for 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, but are still free to take care of their duties on the weekends and in the evenings. Discovery Point's IOP program emphasizes relapse prevention through relapse prevention counseling. This program offers more independence to take the skills learned and apply them in daily life. Patients receive the same support as an inpatient client, but have more flexibility. Therapy includes traditional talk therapy, life skills support, trauma treatment, and more.
