Focus

This center treats mental health conditions and co-occurring substance use. You receive collaborative, individualized treatment that addresses both issues for whole-person healing.

Clearview Outpatient in Woodland Hills provides comprehensive and compassionate care for adults struggling with various mental health conditions and co-occurring disorders including secondary addiction. Conveniently located minutes from major freeways, they offer accessible treatment for the San Fernando Valley and several neighboring areas such as Calabasas and Malibu. Board-certified psychiatrists conduct initial evaluations and oversee treatment provided by licensed and experienced clinicians who are certified in evidence-based practices. Clearview utilizes a combination of evidence-based and experiential therapies to provide clients with personally tailored treatment plans that will address each individual’s unique needs. Adults who are struggling with severe and persistent mental illnesses can receive high-quality individualized psychotherapeutic care for a variety of mental health and co-occurring conditions. Clearview Outpatient has a multimodality approach that includes individual, group, and family therapy along with their psychiatric services. Disorders they treat include secondary substance abuse disorders, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and various mood disorders, borderline and other personality disorders, trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), emotional dysregulation, self-harm and suicidal ideation, and co-occurring autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Clearview offers 3 outpatient programs: their partial hospitalization program (PHP), and their intensive outpatient program (IOP), which offers both day time and evening sessions. PHP is the highest level of outpatient care, often offering treatment that is similar in intensity to residential care while allowing the patient to remain living at home. Clients in PHP at Clearview attend treatment 5 days per week for 6 hours per day, participating in individual, group, and family therapy. Patients who are eligible for PHP exhibit and struggle with symptoms such as depression, anxiety, losing interest in normal activities, withdrawal from friends and family, behavioral problems, and psychiatric disorders including being at risk of self-harm. IOP at Clearview creates a structured treatment program designed for individuals who are not responding to traditional or less intensive outpatient programs. IOP offers support for clients who are experiencing distressing symptoms and behaviors that are negatively affecting their everyday life, focusing on building a solid recovery foundation and transitioning into community treatment. Clients in IOP attend treatment 3-5 days per week for 3 hours per day dependent on their individualized treatment needs. Clearview Outpatient in Woodland Hills also currently offers an evening IOP for clients who are unable to attend during the day due to work or school. Licensed and certified clinicians lead groups and therapies that incorporate process-oriented therapy, psychoeducational therapy, and experiential therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), conflict resolution and healthy relationships groups, creative writing, self-esteem group, and expressive arts therapy.
