Since 1997, Center for Discovery has been treating eating disorders using evidence-based therapies supported by research. The Thousand Oaks residential program treats clients 18+ of all genders with primary eating disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Center for Discovery offers a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure & response prevention (ERP), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Nestled near the mountains, Center for Discovery provides clients with a serene treatment environment. Clients at Center for Discovery are given the chance to incorporate joyous movement into their lives while they are in treatment. They give patients various opportunities to participate in recreational activities and incorporate yoga and art into their therapeutic strategy.
