This center treats substance use disorders and mental health conditions. You'll receive individualized care catered to your unique situation and diagnosis, learn practical skills for recovery, and make new connections in a restorative environment.

Better Community Development (BCD) is a trusted resource for individuals and families facing drug and alcohol addiction. Their goal is to help low-income and at-risk adults recover and rebuild their lives. The center provides both inpatient and outpatient care. What makes BCD unique is its focus on healing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—through a caring, faith-based approach. BCD uses many kinds of therapy to help people get better. These include one-on-one counseling, group therapy, and mental health support. They also teach life skills and ways to stay healthy. Special classes like fitness, cooking, and stress management help people build strong habits and avoid relapse. BCD offers safe places to live while recovering. Will’s House and Empowerment Village give people a stable home as they work to rebuild their lives. These homes are clean, peaceful, and full of support. With help for housing, jobs, and health care, BCD gives people the tools they need for a fresh start.
