Regardless of a client’s sexuality, the all-male environment takes away distraction and allows clients to quickly lower their guard to focus on struggles uniquely experienced by men in recovery. During treatment, clients go to the gym and AA meetings together, as well as enjoy San Diego sober life off site, resulting in a strong community that can endure after the program.
