Focus

This center treats substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Your treatment plan addresses each condition at once with personalized, compassionate care for comprehensive healing.

This outpatient addiction recovery center provides partial hospitalization programs (PHP), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), medication-assisted treatment, case management and more to clients in South Florida. The PHP includes 25 hours of treatment per week and the IOP includes up to 15 hours per week of treatment. The majority of the programs at Ascend include group therapy as the major focus, with a few individual sessions a week as well. They offer a blend of evidence-based therapies and holistic therapies. Some treatments that they specialize in include brain mapping, art therapy, yoga therapy, life skills training and relapse prevention counseling. They provide opportunities for clients to attend either 12 step programs or SMART Recovery programs depending on their interests and personality. In addition to their standard programming, they offer a program specifically based on biblical Christianity. The Alpha Series explains what the Bible says what God has done to make us worthy as human beings. The program applies the gospel of Jesus as a solution to the problem of addiction.
