The ARC Maternal and Infant Program (MIP) is a 12-bed residential treatment center in Madison, Wisconsin, dedicated to helping pregnant and postpartum women with substance use disorders. Established in 1993, MIP allows mothers to live with their infants in a safe and nurturing environment while receiving comprehensive care. MIP offers specialized services, including support for healthy pregnancies and births, delivery planning, and education on infant care and bonding. Continuing care planning ensures a successful transition back into the community. All services are provided at no cost to participants, with primary funding from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, BadgerCare (Medicaid), and the Dane County Department of Human Services.
