Focus
This center primarily treats substance use disorders, helping you stabilize, create relapse-prevention plans, and connect to compassionate support.
Amanda’s House, located in Green Bay, Wisconsin, was founded by a mother who lost her daughter to an opioid overdose. Jolly and her daughter, Amanda, had founded the Mandolin Foundation planning to open a sober living facility together before Amanda died in 2020. Jolly continued with their plans to offer other women and their children a supportive living space during the recovery process. Amanda’s House has space for 10 women and 3 kids. The price is $400/month with a child being an additional $100. While living in the home, women can attend required therapies and tend to other obligations outside the home while having a community of other women for support. Amanda’s House offers 12-Step recovery meetings, mindfulness sessions, life skills classes, and more. Women living at the home are expected to work or volunteer at least 20 hours a week and can stay at Amanda’s House for up to 2 years.
