Once an individual has completed a medically assisted detox, the first recommended step is their highest level of treatment, the partial hospitalization program (PHP). Partial hospitalization provides the supportive structure needed in early recovery with a more intensive style of treatment, usually 5-7 days a week. Individuals in this program receive a variety of holistic and traditional treatments while still being able to live out their daily responsibilities. The next phase in treatment is the intensive outpatient program (IOP), for those who no longer need the full-day program and are transitioning back into everyday life. IOP consists of 3 hours of group therapy per day and 1 hour of individual therapy per week. The third and final level of care is their outpatient care program. This outpatient program consists of 1-2 days of individual or group therapy per week, designed to keep individuals connected to the needed ongoing support. Throughout the process, individuals are given case management, aftercare, and medication management services. Aftermath offers evening hours as well as virtual options for each level of care, making it convenient and easily accessible for all.
