Advanced Psych Services treats adults facing various mental health challenges and substance use problems, including treatment-resistant depression and opioid use disorder. The center provides outpatient care that allows individuals to fit treatment into their daily lives. They combine traditional therapy with advanced technologies to offer a comprehensive approach for those with complex needs. The center's approach focuses on creating an individualized plan for every client. After an initial psychiatric evaluation, a clinical team develops a course of action that may include ongoing medication management and psychotherapy. Using therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), clients receive support to manage their symptoms, change negative thought patterns, and improve their overall well-being. The center also provides innovative treatment options for specific conditions. It offers Neurostar transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), an FDA-approved, non-drug therapy that uses magnetic pulses to help those with depression that has not improved with medication. For opioid addiction, a medication-assisted treatment (MAT) program is available, which uses medications like Suboxone and Vivitrol alongside counseling and support to aid in recovery.
