Ascend Healthcare - Culver City Outpatient

Program Length

90 days

Focus

This center treats mental health conditions and co-occurring substance use. You receive collaborative, individualized treatment that addresses both issues for whole-person healing.

Ascend Healthcare provides mental health treatment specialized for adolescents ages 12-17, primarily through short-term residential programs in various locations throughout California. Their Culver City location provides comprehensive outpatient mental health and co-occurring disorder treatment through their day treatment (PHP) program. Their day treatment program is ideal for adolescents and teens who need continued support after residential treatment, or for individuals who need a higher level of support than outpatient and individual therapy regimens while returning home or to a transitional environment in the evenings. Their trauma-informed approach to day treatment offers clinical treatment models that are individualized to the client and family, blending individual, group, and family evidence-based therapy. The program features weekly family therapy, parenting with DBT classes, and parent process groups for families of clients. Additionally, clients and families may participate in multi-family therapy groups, client-only group therapy, educational support, case management, and psychiatry and medication management. Clients experiencing substance use disorder may also participate in 12-Step recovery programs. Their spacious facility features a kitchen, recreation areas and games, indoor and outdoor lounges, group therapy rooms, private therapy offices, and a classroom with computers for academic support.
