Little Creek Behavioral Health is a residential program in Conway, Arkansas, treating mental health and behavioral disorders in adolescents ages 12-18. Their approach is evidence-based and trauma-informed, providing compassionate care. Treatment includes therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), life skills training, and meditation and mindfulness. Little Creek provides education services through licensed special education teachers for 6 hours a day during the week. Students are placed into classrooms based on their age to ensure they receive an age-appropriate curriculum. As of May 2023, Little Creek Behavioral Health only accepts clients from out of the state of Arkansas. Little Creek Behavioral Health has a specialized program for children and adolescents (ages 6-17) who are deaf or hard-of-hearing called Deaf Connections. Deaf Connection provides hearing impaired youth with the same access to mental health and behavioral disorder treatment as hearing youth, ensuring they have necessary accommodations and adaptations. The program is facilitated by licensed staff who themselves have hearing loss, alongside hearing staff. The average length of stay in the program is 6-12 months.
